Hellslayers have qualified for 3rd Generation Intel Core Challenge by Inferno Online, by winning the first LAN qualifier via a 2-0 victory against Playstar in the final.

The first of two LAN qualifiers at Inferno Online came to a close Thursday evening, with Hellslayers facing Playstar in the final.

Both teams went uncontested through the bracket, to face off in a best-of-three series to determine which of the two would make it to Saturday's main event.

Led by former MYM member Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson, Playstar went into the final called out as the favorites to win the spot for the $10,000 tournament.

Playstar and Berndtsson never really came close to victory, seeing Hellslayers win 16-6 on de_inferno and 16-7 on de_dust2 to win the final and qualify for the tournament on Saturday.

Hellslayers attended the qualifier with the following lineup:

Shortly after the final tournament organizers made a coin-flip to determine who Hellslayers would face on Saturday, turning out to be ESC Gaming, meaning the winner of Friday's LAN qualifier will face fnatic in round one.
